ABBOTT IRELAND
A new entrance kiosk, reception, offices and canteen framing the magnificent views of the woods and river forming part of a major expansion of the healthcare facility.
The project consisted of three key elements; the entrance/ reception defined by the raised roof and canopy, the glazed curtain wall defining the new offices and finally the large ‘bay window’ of the canteen framing the magnificent views of the woods and river. Cellular offices are arranged along the perimeter with open plan to the centre. High ceilings and fully glazed partitions allow high levels of natural day light in and views out. In contrast to the angular and massive manufacturing facility the entrance pavilion is a small and welcoming glazed circular building.
