ARCHITECTS STUDIO
An office fit out in the heart of the north inner city an area previously known as ‘The Monto’. The brief was for a large flexible open studio space to be shared by two architectural practices.
Meeting rooms and ancillary service areas are tucked at the back, beneath a mezzanine, with archive/library above. Concrete walls are either plastered smooth or sandblasted raw up to the height of the windows forming a datum line, a ‘virtual’ ceiling defined by hovering lights, above the services are left exposed in metal trays or wrapped in silver foil.
