Sensitive conservations works and the adaptation to contemporary family living of an abandoned 19th century house on the shores of Ballisodare Bay.

We developed a long term strategy for the conservation, restoration and refurbishment of this late 18century house and the various buildings of this old estate. Other buildings include the very finely crafted 19th century stables, the estate manager’s house, walled garden, gardener’s cottage, out-houses and a stone boat house on the sea shore. In the refurbishment of the building we adopted a sensitive approach to the works which were compatible with conservation principles.
