IRISH COASTGUARD
The new coast guard station in Doolin was designed by Dominic Stevens Architect in association with Dorman Architects.
The building has been designed to have minimal impact on the Burren landscape. It is finished with a combination of painted plaster and polycarbonate panels. Dorman Architects built on their efficient management, quality control and technical resources in order to ensure that we delivered a building that met the clients requirements and was designed and built to the highest standards; sufficiently robust to withstand the severe Atlantic weather; utilised low energy use; utilised sustainable materials and provided best value for the Contracting Authority and Public.
