NEW LIFE FOR AN OLD CHANGING BUILDING
A compact refurbishment and extension project for a small football changing building on a restricted site in Markeivicz Park, Ballyfermot.
The existing building was extended to facilitate two pairs of changing rooms linked by shared showers; an accessible changing room, a referee room; toilets and storage. The circulation and changing rooms are finished in a neutral hard wearing grey colour in contrast to the lively coloured showers and toilets. The facilities are universally accessible.
Hot water is provided by an exhaust air heat Pump which takes its energy from air within the building and provides significant savings over non-renewable energy sources such as gas.
