NEW TENNIS PAVILION
A new energy efficient tennis pavilion in Rockfield Park overlooking the new all weather tennis courts and football pitch.
A metal roofed low lying linear building with a wrap around viewing area over looking the tennis courts. A central entrance with accessible male and female changing rooms with showers to one side and a generous club room to the other. Designed with sustainability to the fore; a simple and economic footprint, high thermal value construction, south facing glazing for maximum solar gain and energy efficient services will promote efficiencies to ensure minimal running costs.
The pavilion was granted part 8 planning and awaits funding to enable it to proceed to construction. The upgrade of the tennis courts and All-weather football pitch with new LED floodlighting was completed in late 2017.
