TENNIS AND PADEL PAVILION UPGRADE

Refurbishment of the old Bushy Park tennis pavilion to create a welcoming fully accessible contemporary club building for the tennis courts and the new concept game of padel.

A high roof lit entrance reception, glazed on both sides, opens onto a covered verandah overlooking the Padel courts. The building provides a fully accessible shower, male and female accessible toilets and changing rooms with showers, office and store. Sustainably designed with external insulation system, minimal thermal bridging, triple glazing, LED lighting, air to thermal heating and hot water system, air exhaust heat exchange and photovoltaic roof collectors are utilised to promote efficiency with minimal running costs.

The 4 new floodlit Padel courts, 7 green tennis courts and 2 clays courts opened in Autumn 2017. Since opening the Padel concept has proved phenomenally popular.

The pavilion was completed in 2016.
